Hiii!! You might know me by my online alias, bbhtt, and somehow ended up here. So, welcome to my little corner of the internet! I’m a zillennial guy from India. I’m known as Boudhayan in real life, which means “wise” or “knowledgeable” in Sanskrit, but can also refer to the son of the planet Mercury, or of an ancient sage. I’m a deeply introverted heteroromantic ace, still trying to figure out life. Politically, I’m a democratic socialist but I also do appreciate some of the orthodox socialism beliefs. I consider myself to be progressive, pro women’s rights, pro-lgbtqia+ rights and anti-fascist. If you are against any of these, I kindly suggest to leave me alone.
I completed my B.Sc. (Honours) in 2021 and my M.Sc. in Mathematics in 2023, and I’m currently doing a Ph.D. in Mathematics. I teach Maths for work, and spend a lot of my free time online on free software, watching YouTube, or getting lost in movies and TV shows, anime, and Asian dramas. I’m a big fan of pop, K-pop, J-pop, and rock music. Occasionally I play online chess or something on Steam. Maths eats up most of my time, but I’ve always loved literature, poetry, and philosophy. So I still try to make room for books.
All of my free software work is done in my free time. I never accepted any payments or donations for it and I don’t have any plans to do so. I have (co)maintained or contributed to, either currently or at various points in time, the following projects:
Flatpak: flatpak, flatpak-builder-tools, flatpak-github-actions, flatpak-builder, libportal, flat-manager, and flatpak-docs.
Flathub: Former reviewer, admin, moderator, and various other things at Flathub, as well as shared-modules. I’ve also maintained or helped maintain various Flathub packages, including com.github.maoschanz.drawing, com.valvesoftware.Steam, com.xnview.XnConvert, com.xnview.XnRetro, com.xnview.XnSketch, io.github.hydrusnetwork.hydrus, io.qt.qtwebengine.BaseApp, net.sourceforge.liferea, org.chromium.Chromium.BaseApp, org.electronjs.Electron2.BaseApp, org.flathub.flatpak-external-data-checker, org.flatpak.Builder, org.flatpak.Builder.BaseApp, org.freedesktop.Sdk.Extension.rust-nightly, org.freedesktop.Sdk.Extension.vala, and org.mozilla.firefox.BaseApp. I’ve helped with plenty of others too, but this list is already getting a bit long.
Flathub infrastructure: Flathub website and backend, documentation, flatpak-builder-lint, vorarbeiter, flat-manager-hooks, flathub-stats, actions-images, flatpak-external-data-checker, flathub-repro-checker, flathub-submission-checker, ide-flatpak-wrapper, and flathub-merge-action.
Freedesktop SDK: freedesktop-sdk, freedesktop-sdk-docker-images, mirroring-config, mesa-git-extension, nvd-cve-database, freedesktop-sdk-utils, freedesktop-sdk-binary-seed, shared-library-guard, openh264-extension, and buildstream-plugins-community.
KDE: I created and maintained the KDE runtime’s 6.5 through 6.8 branches. I also wrote the first version of its maintenance policy. At some point I created 100+ MRs for various KDE applications to update their metainfo.

The domain for this website is registered with Hostinger, while DNS and TLS certificates are managed through Cloudflare. The website itself is hosted as a static site on GitHub pages.
